Wow, I really just made this site and then immediately dipped, huh? I honestly have no real excuse for this, but to be fair this site has zero followers and odds are nobody missed me lmao. Well! A lot has happened in my life since I last updated! Unsurprisingly. It's been a year.
Well... back in July I got my first job! I'm working at starbucks, and there are definitely ups and downs, but I like my coworkers and I get paid and I get free food soooo. Can't complain too much! I can't paint my nails, however, I have like the next 5 days off... so I painted my nails last night!! I painted them black for the first time in my life (dunno why it took me this long) and i feel cooool. I told my mom that earlier and she said I'm already cool. Thanks mama!
I've picked up and then put down so many creative projects over the past year-- currently I'm fixating on a puppet themed MMO or something?? Like, toontown but with muppet-adjacent creatures (I've never played toontown). And I'm also fixating on another creative project of mine that I've been workshopping since like... Around this time last year, actually, lol. It's supposed to be a spooky thing, which is very hard for me, as I am a hilarious person in nature. The problem is that I have so much trouble getting myself to actually focus! Like, why would I do this other thing that I wanna do when I could just play the sims instead?? Even though I wanna do it!
Speaking of, the sims is currently something I'm hyperfixating on! I've been playing the sims since I was a wee bab back in the late 2000s, because my mama played it! That's how i got into Animal crossing, too! In other hyperfixation news, I'm also really big on the muppets and other muppet-adajcent media atm?? Did you know that Beaker is canonically British? Which probably explains why he communicates almost exclusively in "meep". The British accent! Nobody can understand what he's saying! My parents are about to leave to take a trip for the weekend tomorrow, and my dad gave me his fraggle rock season one dvd set the other day so... I know what I'm doing while they're gone >:) It has also now hit me that Gonzo is probably my #1 style inspiration. From one whatever to another!
I think I'm going to try knitting again! I tried to knit for a brief period as a kid, but it never stuck. I did the same thing with cross stitching, but I did end up getting back into it a few years ago. Oh, maybe I should make a page for my cross stitching! Under "collections", perhaps? I also intend to put my disney pins there at some point but like... i have ~250+ of them at this point? So that's gonna be a lot of pictures to take. Maybe I'll scan them with my printer! lol. I have a collection of VHS tapes too! It mostly consist of like, childrens' entertainment. And also soap operas that my grandmother watched. So it's probably not as cool as you were expecting, but I'm proud of it! >:)
I've been making my own buttons recently! My parents got me a button maker for christmas, and I've been trying to figure out how to make a template for a while and finally figured it out the other day. I have so many ideas but ??? it's hard to gather them all! Muppets? Final fantasy? Zelda? My cats?? Well actually I already have a button of one of my cats but that's not the point.
I want to go through my closet to decide what to give away and put away winter clothes, but like... it's been cold again recently! It's May! It shouldn't be 48°F/9°C at night! I should be wearing pajama shorts and sleeping with my windows open. wtf is this!
